I was having such a hard day dealing with my grandma's death and break up the only thing I wanted to do was have a glass of vino with Danielle and Mariah.  Well, thanks to Vendetta Pro I was able to accomplish it and the cherry on top was I got to perform.  I remember meeting Luna a few times and we totally connected.  We had great convo and took pics that I wish I had prints of :(  I'm sure I can find them online though!  I decided to do a remix of Ariel/Salinas and I must say nothing beat the remix :)  All the gals at the show were so positive and ready to kick booty.  Sometimes when you get that many girls in the locker room there can be tension but instead we all WANTED to work with each other.  Positive vibes to all the gals who participated in the Lunacy Cup tournament and congrats to Hudson Envy for her win!

In August Danielle and I made our Hoodslam return.  Brian Zombie joined us but I don't think he had a good time.  I hope I'm wrong.  I had caught an awful cold prior to going on our trip and as result you see the snotty nosed gal trying to tell the tale of Hoooooooooodslammmmmm.  I have always wanted to go to Andersen's but I think I need to revisit sans cold.  I had fun but I think it could've been more fun had I not felt like garbage.  Rumor has it that we will venture into Hoodslam-land in November and I think I just may have to make a pit stop for some pea soup the way I was meant to.  Until then...#FTF and yes that means YOU fan boy! #kayfabe

So I was organizing my video footage and I found this little gem from a few months ago at CWF Hollywood.  Since then we have changed our filming location but I sure did enjoy the Commerce Hotel and Casino!  I remember this day like it was yesterday, what a trip.  So much has changed in both mine and Danielle's life and revisiting this footage is a huge reminder of how much we have evolved.  It's important to realize that good, bad and uncomfortable situations held mold who you are.  As scripture says "Trust in The Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." -Prov 3:5  Sometimes we think we are trusting in The Lord but we are actually leaning on our own understanding and that's when life can become frustrating.  You think you are doing all that you are supposed to yet feel stuck in a hole you can climb out of.  Often we lean on our own understanding so much that when we feel defeated and all we can do is throw our hands up in the air finally giving ourselves to The Lord.  We are human and are going to make mistakes so don't be hard on yourself if you have to go through darkness to reach the Light.  Most times you must learn to walk in the dark before you can reach Light and discover peace, Love, understand and compassion.  True Shalom.  Tomorrow is the next CWF Hollywood tapings and if you are in the Southern California are visit hollywoodwrestling.com for ticket information.  Not in the So Cal area?  No problem.  CWF Hollywood updates their site weekly with new episodes so make sure to keep checking back for some rasslin' action!

Things get a little emotional this week on #savewrestling the podcast.  It's been quite the summer and now that summer has come to an end it's time to take all those lessons and apply them to my everyday life.  I cried, I laughed and let go during this broadcast.  Love to hear your thoughts!  After you give it a listen feel free to post your comments below.

I came home from Costa Rica on a Wednesday, had Thursday off then headed to the airport on Friday to good old Canada.  I'm glad the original Lyft fella no showed me because the fella who took me to the airport was a delight to talk to.  Long story short it's still cheaper to take to Tobias van.  I look forward to sharing my journey in Canada with Jake the Snake, Tatanka and Jon Bolen.

Our first stop was a signing at a flea market.  I had too much fun filming Jake and Tatanka.  They are both so different but equally as intriguing.  What a blessing my life is that I am allowed to trespass into the lives of those who paved the way.  I freakin' LOVE WRESTLING!  I am such a nerd and didn't bring my gimmicks BROTHER!  I remember before I left the house I grabbed my VOC Nation pictures just in case.  You see, sometimes promoters have 8x10's for me and other times I bring my own.  I could've sworn they were going to supply them but alas I was wrong LOL.

I have had some technical difficulties that have hindered my updates but I'm finally back on track!  It's crazy how long ago my Canada trip seems but in reality it was only a few weekends ago.  In life we all have set backs but it's all about how you pick yourself up and move forward that counts.  I know that sometimes the bumps in the road seem like the end of the world but it always works out in the end.  I've been through a lot this summer and I praise God for all that He has shown me, taught me and continues to teach me-even when I don't like the circumstances.  Lean not on my own understanding but darn it sometimes situations hurt.  I needed to see Jon Bolen my amigo, my REAL friend.  I will take the words he shared with me about my struggles and keep them close to my heart.

Ay, ay, ay what a trip!  I stand by my decision in this video and I'm pretty sure I will never eat fruit and cheese from the airport again.  I can't believe I threw up!  It funny watching this video now, you see the roller coaster of a day right before your eyes.  Moral of the story?  A day may consist of tears, heart break, love, inspiration and throwing up but it all truly does work out in the end.
